Great book!
Wonderful detailed information on structure of kitchens and other castle offices. Recipes are mostly from familiar sources and well laid out and very usable. The drawings are marvelous and the book very readable, although there is such a wealth of information that it rates slow, thoughtful reading. This will definitely be a much used book in my collection.
