This is a stated First Edition, with a complete number line to 1. The Book is in Very Good condition with what appears to be a torn out, tipped in publishers sheet, located before the half-title page on the other side of the front free end page. I don't know if this is a publishing defect or what, exactly it is, the book is also slightly cocked. The Book is signed by the author on the title page. The Dust Jacket is also in Very Good condition with damage to the front facing bottom corner perhaps from being dropped. The top front facing spine has a slight chip. Please see attached photo. anything by michael connelly is a great read. If you have not read any of his books start with black echo and read them in order. his characters come back and even show up in books that they are not the main character in. I have read them all twice.

Always a good read
Although Connelly isn't a great writer, he is one of the best with the Cop/murder genre; this is one of his earlier efforts -- recently reissued in hard cover (paper over boards w/o DJ) but a really pleasant read. Buy and enjoy
