New Insight into the man who loved God
I've learned about David through my Christian upbringing, especially the highlights: David & Goliath, David & Saul, David & Bethsheba. But I never before saw David as a human.
This book taught me how, although I will fall in life, I can pick myself up as David did and accept God's forgiveness while living with the consequences of sin. Consequence is something most preachers gloss over, but we still need to live with.
Read this if you are not a perfect person. Hint: None of us are perfect, or we wouldn't need Jesus Christ.
