She has one older brother and two older sisters. She has dreamed of being a writer her whole life and has always been supported by a host of very supportive family members and friends. She received her education at the University of Southern Mississippi, receiving several degrees including a Bachelor of Art in Journalism, Bachelor of Arts in Paralegal Studies, a Master of Science Degree in Mass Communications, and a PhD in Communications.She has worked as a freelance writer and photographer since her college years.
