Twelve of the 20 chapters from the main text have been included in this edition, several chapters having been condensed for this volume. Those condensed chapters have shifted from a more research-oriented focus to a more fundamental focus on issues such as critical negotiation subprocesses, multiparty negotiations, and the influence of international and cross-cultural differences on the negotiation process.

I received this book just before school started. I intended to order the pictured book (the green one). Instead they sent the old edition. The old edition is SIGNIFICANTLY different and I never got a response from the seller. If you need the 4th edition, make sure you GET the 4th edition!

a lot more than i expected
The book is very easy to read and understand even for a non english speaking reader. Definitions and information on every aspect of the subject. It is I think what the title says. after completing the 4-5 first chapters one will definetly see negotiations differently and will be able to analyze situations (see the angles) a lot easier. Simple terms, readable text, interesting subject, it can be usefull to everyone, since we are all involved in negotiations.
