Peut-�tre ne r�side-t-elle pas tant dans ce que dit ce discours, que dans un rapport autre au discours lui-m�me avec toutes les possibilit�s de r�appropriation, de d�tournement, de res�mentisation (la liste n'est pas exhaustive) qu'une telle modification peut ouvrir. Un nouveau type de discours de savoir, mais pas un savoir unique, car ces � sages � grecs, po�tes et historiens, m�decins et physiologues, g�ographes et � m�t�orologues �, et bien d'autres choses encore, �taient engag�s dans un vaste d�bat intellectuel ignorant tout autant les fronti�res g�ographiques que les barri�res disciplinaires, tout en participant activement � la vie politique de leur cit�.
