Als Georg mit dem Brief zu seinem Vater geht, kommt es zu einem Disput. W�hrend des Streits erf�hrt der Sohn, dass sein Vater angeblich schon lange mit dem Petersburger Freund in Verbindung stehe und diesen l�ngst �ber alles unterrichtet habe.
