Is someone trying to frame him for this unexplained death? Meanwhile, the bank robberies continue with unparalleled savagery. Gripping and surprising, "The House of Pain" is the new thriller by the one of the biggest stars of Scandinavian crime fiction.

Jo Nesbo is one of my favorite writers and I was horrified to find that in this new Mass Market Paperback version of his book Nemesis the writing is SO tiny compared to most Mass Market thrillers. Very disappointing. I'll need to buy and use reading glasses to read it. It's crumb sized writing! :-(

Gripping Story
I've read a great deal of crime fiction. This is the best new author I've come across in years. I really could not put the book down, reading way past my bedtime and at every possible moment I could find. Inspector Harry Hole is a fascinating character who will appeal to fans of Ian Rankin's John Rebus.
