This is probably my favorite of all books. I read it years ago and couldn't get it off my mind. I adored all the characters, cried in the end, didn't want to be finished with the book and finally decided to order it again since I lost mine years ago. I hear Victor Villasenor has written another book called, "Beyond Rain of Gold." I'm looking forward to reading it. I want to thank Victor Villasenor for writing this incredible saga of 2 familes during the 1910 Mexican Revolution. Amazing story!

Amazing
I could not put this book down! As much I as wanted to read it, I did not want it to finish either. This book opened my eyes to a family's history, to their love, strength and courage. It has made me want to reach back into my own familys' history and learn who and what has made me become who I am. This book will truly warm your heart.
