I was offered a free book, asking only that I give a fair and honest review in return. I was happy to receive my e-book, even before it was available on Amazon. I love Christy Barritt's books and anxiously sat down to read this book over Christmas Break. I couldn't put it down! The main character wants to withdraw from the world and be left alone, but is constantly drawn in to the struggles of others. Then enters a mysterious stranger with secrets of his own. I love mysteries interwoven with a little clean romance, and this book had it all -- plenty of mysteries, plenty of romance. Although I figured out fairly early who might be "the villain," I still enjoyed this book immensely.
