Original dust wrapper is corner clipped on foot of frt flap but price remains there. A hilarious tale of Mrs Tovey, owner of an English farmette, who did little think, as she sat on a horse called Rory, futilely trying to get him past the Rose and Crown while the villagers watched incredulously through the window, that she and her husband Charles would one day ride on a round-up in Western Canada. How this came about via lessons at the local riding school, some extremely hair-raising excursions around the countryside and a visit to the Camargue to see the horses there.
