Bookcase is an independent second-hand bookstore based in Carlisle, Cumbria. We are housed in a wonderfull georgian mansion, over four floors and with over 30 rooms. We specialise in rare and antiquarian titles, but we also have 250,000 books in store, nevermind the 20,000 books we have catalogued and in our antiquarian room! If you can't find what you want from our online inventory, we think you should give us a visit in person, you might well be very impressed!
Good. 32mo. Green cloth with gilt titles to spines, purple painted edges faded apart from base edges. Some rubbings to boards, some gutters cracked and some signatures a little loose, vol. XI has some splitting of cloth to rear joint and board. Pages are clean and bright.
Poor. No Jacket. 8vo. Tears to spine, discolouration to exterior, gutters cracked throughout, shaken, ink inscrips. to f-fep and contents, however, pp clean and tidy.
