Nothing sad here
This is the book that started it all, for me anyway.
It's Deric Longdon's third book, but the first one I read. I have great memories of reading it to my girlfriend, and just lately thought to re-read it. When I was finished, I had to read his other books.
Deric is a reluctant cat-lover, but he understands them very well, and writes about them hilariously.
