this is not what i expected but one never can in sci fi i was only vaguely aware of this work but i trust this author so one can,t go wrong but one must not confuse one genre over another as they do not overlap only in the brillance of the writing which he excells at now as a review the reviews so far have between sheer near now is that a review i dare say something less pretentious could be said but thumper said it best if you can,t anything don,t say anything at all so i,m not at this as i,m still trying to devour this tome

Great Series as a Whole
I really loved this whole series. I will admit there is some predictability in the main plot but there are enough story elements that will still surprise and please even veteran readers and you can't ignore Butcher's humor perfectly seasoned throughout.

Nearly boring
Continuing the trend of obviousness, simplicity and one-dimensionality of the first book in the series, this one managed to just barely hold my attention. It's okay for what it is, but an enthralling read it isn't. Cheap story, cheap characters, tiny problems, silly resolutions.
