Throughout most of its six-year life (1897-1903) the publication included articles on photographs as fine art, as well as hundreds of halftone images and high-quality photogravure images. While much has been written on the rest of Stieglitz's endeavours, no attention has been given to this vital publication. This volume focuses on "Camera Notes" and its influence.
