Moves faster then the first one, not so long on his personal narrative of the character's. If you read the first two, might as well read this.

The Best WWII Book!
Without question, this is the best book I've ever read about WWII. The author looks at the war through multiple points of view: British, German, American & Russian. He puts you into the rooms where the generals meet and plan and in the battlefields where the soldiers fight. Well written, characters sharply drawn.

War to end wars???
The book is well written. That said, I have my doubts as to some of the thoughts that the characters speak are either close to true, or in some cases realistic. Other than that it is a good, but not great read.

Terrific Historical Novel
