Wo es gilt, auf K�rpertheile zu wirken, die von m�chtigen Muskel massen umgeben sind, f�r deren Entspannung durch eine entsprechende Stellung (lage) des Kranken zu sorgen ist, wird man mehr Kraft an wenden m�ssen, als bei oberfl�chlich liegenden, nur von Haut bedeckten Theilen. Bei wohlgen�brten, mittelstarken Individuen wird gegebenen Falles kr�ftiger massirt werden, als bei mageren, schw�chlichen Personen, Kindern und Greisen.
