Loved the book, experience with Dan Simmons books remind me of years spent reading Stephen King and Hardy Boys with a flashlight and dreaming of living in a mid-western town with spooky goings on. J Edgar Hoover on the hunt
This novel is beautifully based on the facts involved in Hemingway's pursuit by Hoover, who devoted 100% of one agent's time to surveillance of the writer and his rich friends in Key West and Cuba. It's a lark.
