Engrossing!
I was doubtful when I purchased this book that it was to be interesting. I was enthralled. Not only is the story well-told but it is full of historic fact as well. I am learning more and enjoying it!!!!

Excellant book. I enjoy historical fiction and the author (Jack Whyte) gave a lot of information about the Roman occupation of Britain.

The best Arthurian legend series
Once you read this book you will be hooked and have to read the whole series. I have recommended this book to several friends, some who don't even read history and aren't interested in the Arthurian legend. Always, I have received a positive response and they continue with the series. Jack Whyte has really done his research and if there is any fact to the Arthurian legend he makes it believable. Get this book, he is an excellent writer and you won't be disappointed.
