Dabei haben Anleger die Wahl aus tausenden von Fonds, die je nach Anlageschwerpunkt beispielsweise in Aktien, Anleihen oder Rohstoffen investieren. So l???sst sich die Vielfalt der Fonds nicht nur nach dem Anlageschwerpunkt unterscheiden, sondern auch nach der Art ihres Managements. Im Umfeld der seit Jahren kontrovers und mit gro???er medialer Aufmerksamkeit gef???hrten Diskussion, ob aktive Fondsmanager ???berhaupt in der Lage sind, auf lange Sicht besser abzuschneiden als der Markt, erfreuen sich sogenannte passiv gemanagte Investmentfonds enorm wachsender Beliebtheit. Diesen Fonds werden diverse Vorteile wie geringere Geb???hren, mehr Transparenz sowie die Erzielung der von aktiven Managern oft nicht erreichten Marktrendite zugeschrieben. Die Frage der Managementform des Investmentfonds ist also aufgrund der Unterschiede und Auswirkungen auf die Anlage von gro???er Bedeutung f???r Investoren. Daher soll diese Arbeit der Frage nachgehen, welche Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede zwischen aktiv verwalteten und passiv verwalteten Investmentfonds bestehen und welche Implikationen sich daraus f???r Anleger ergeben. Dazu werden zun???chst aktives und passives Fondsmanagement definiert und im Folgenden ein Vergleich zwischen beiden Managementformen durchgef???hrt. Die Arbeit soll sich in den Ausf???hrungen haupts???chlich auf den deutschen Markt f???r Publikumsfonds beziehen sowie auf die Frankfurter Wertpapierb???rse als gr??????te deutsche B???rse.
