Beautiful visually and fantastic recipes
I have been looking for some time for a Peruvian recipe book, having realised on a recent trip that this is one of the world's great cuisines. Tony Custer's book, despite some careless proof-reading, is a delight: beautifully illustrated and with a fine range of recipes. I have tried out many of these and they were delicious. The deserts are often too sweet and rich for modern tastes outside Peru, but once in a while, anyone can indulge! Proceeds from sales of this book, according to the blurb, go to help educate indigent Peruvians, so although the cost is a little high, it's well worth it.
