In July 2013, I invited my Writers' Club members to take a heritage adventure with me and write their personal stories. Many others joined me later through my free "Writing as Art, Editing and Publishing" workshops hosted at local coffee cafes, churches, and the Alamance and Caswell County Libraries. The stories would be about their historical, educational, artistic and cultural link to this region of North Carolina.
