I was surprised I enjoyed this story as much as I did. I love Stewart novels as she is a very detailed writer and her plots have you guessing - many times right until the end. This is a book strictly based in romance. However, the story is told with such thoughtful insight that one forgets it is for the sole purpose of bringing a dueling couple back together. That the story takes place during a 2 hour interview, yet spans years (15) really is woven so well that one does not realize the whole story really is just a TV interview. The past is told through the eyes of the lovers in the interview as if they are living them out again, rather than just remembering glimpses of their past together. Truely magical the way she put it together. Additionally, she has many twists and many plots told during each period of remembering that one does not focus soley on the plot that this is meant only to bring two people back to each other. Stewart has a way to make her stories leap from the page and the reader feels as if in a theater watching a movie - rather than reading a book. Even to the very end, there are twists and startling things that happen that have the reader enthralled right up until the end. This is a shorter of her books and can be read in one sitting (I did). Interesting enough to want to do just that also. No boring parts to stall the interest of the reader and the 15 year history passes as quickly as the interview. Great first read - maybe you want to hang on to it for a future peek also.
