The bestselling suspense author shows her softer side in this endearing love story of two searching hearts. . . . Georgia Enright has dedicated her life to dance. But at age twenty-six, her hopes of becoming a lead dancer are dashed. So she ventures to Pumpkin Hill, an old farm owned by her newly found half sister, Laura Bishop, to contemplate her future. There, discovering an affinity for country life -- and a barn just perfect for giving dance lessons -- Georgia enjoys an oasis of peace . . . until Matthew Bishop arrives. An abandoned child taken in by the same parents who adopted Laura, Matt has plans of his own for that barn -- plans that include a veterinary clinic, not a ballet studio! The only thing the rugged doctor resents more than Laura's interest in her birth family is his having to share the premises with one of them. Yet he can't deny there's something about Georgia that has brightened his world -- and if he's not careful, she just may dance into his heart.

I have read all the stories about the Enrights. Zoey in her book, Nick in the book about Devlin's Light where he met his wife (that was really India's story - but Nick's also). I was waiting to get to this book. In this one, even the small parts of Delia's story come fuller. Only one more story needs to be told and that is of half sister, Laura. Hoping that what was really told in this book comes to more understanding and a fuller story in her own with her Navy Seal dude at a later date. Certainly, there is more about her story that can be told - for her ex will get out of prison eventually and her Navy Seal protector might just be deep sea diving for sunken treasure and have to find/save her? Laura's plot twist in this book is really a large part of this book, but this is really Georgia's story. But, the book could not be told without Laura's either. After all, Georgia falls for Laura's brother Matt. Georgia is a ballet dancer re-evaluating her life away from the city. She had no clue she would bond so tightly with the surroundings of her new found country rental or the people there. While there, she meets and falls for Matt. He has none of it as she is part of a family he believes will take his sister away or hurt her eventually. Even while fighting it all - he is besotted. However, this interloper (Georgy) not only threatens his sister's happiness (he believes) she is overtaking one of their childhood homes and possibly destroying his own dream of a vet clinic when she moves in there to open a ballet studio. Tension abounds for he is wary. This is a stewart novel without a ton of plot twists (save for the one with Laura). This is a love story (not a descriptive type) and a life story. You will enjoy. If you have not read the others - pick them up as well.
