quintessentially cyberpunk
I got my copy of this book from a library book sale. It was a completely random find, having never even heard the word "cyberpunk" at the time, that would go on to indirectly influence my reading and writing habits from that point forward.
Mirrorshades is a collection of cyberpunk short stories with an excellent foreword by Bruce Sterling. The timeline throughout the stories ranges from alternate pasts to distant futures, all with the gritty surrealism inherent in anything cyberpunk.
