Excellent Spanish Language Primer
Be forewarned, this Spanish cookbook doesn?t contain Spanish or Mexican recipes. Speakers of the Spanish language group can prepare their native dishes quite well. It was purchased to improve communication between the supervisor of an institutional kitchen in the Southwest United States and some of the employees, who were struggling to learn or improve their English. To that end it has been successful, being quite helpful in learning the vocabulary of recipes and their preparation. Including an excellent Spanish pronunciation guide along with a bilingual cooking processes glossary it is quite easy to use. The English recipes with instructions are given with the Spanish translation on the opposite facing page. Quite basic and most helpful.
