By now, most readers will have committed themselves to this series - and this author - for better or worse. Therefore, I am primarily writing this review to reassure readers that the money they put down on this book is well spent. Although the majority of Dark Nadir takes place within the confines of a space ship - and within a communal cabin that is more a prison cell than anything else! - readers will not find themselves bored. Norman does an incredible job of keeping up the suspense and maintaining the reader's interest even in events that take place in such a small area. With the introduction of what is by far the most frightening, unfathomable, and technologically advanced alien race that has thus far been encountered in this series, Dark Nadir does an amazing job of keeping the readers on the edge of their seats. This book will convince those that have decided to read the entire series that they will not be disappointed.
