Throughout the 1990s, Kerri Chandler dominated and helped to define the deep house/garage sound with his riveting productions and amazing DJ sets. He continued to produce prolifically during the 2000s, but with the onslaught of new faces to the deep house scene it was hard to keep track of just how much he released (it certainly doesn't help that he records under a slew of other pseudonyms). So with recent collaborator/producer Dennis Ferrer, Soul Heaven had the good sense to commission a triple-disc set from the duo, showcasing some of the best in recent deep house productions. This slow tech-house burner is perfect peak-time music and is worthy of status on par with Isolée's dancefloor classic "Beau Mot Plague." This is an essential mix for Chandler fans, as his DJ skills have never been better, and deep house fans in general will enjoy this relaxing but upbeat soundtrack that is ideal for home listening or getting ready for a big night out on the town. ~ Rob Theakston, Rovi
