The highly melodic song (and "Close Friends") should be popular with fans of Staind's "It's Been a While" and Linkin Park's "One Step Closer." Some songs like "Freaking Out" have surprisingly confessional lyrics. "The Way You Like it" is a simple call to individualism that will likely connect with the band's target demographic group. Such a song rings true from a band that doesn't simply sound like their producer's previous efforts.
