Tennessee Plates delivers the edgy rockabilly punch that fans have come to expect from Mark Collie, but not in quite as a consistent fashion as some of his earlier records. Although it has its share of love songs, the album does continue the stripped-down, direct approach of Unleashed -- it just doesn't have the same amount of high-quality songs.
