Singer Judi K. is a welcome addition on five numbers, including "Blue Prelude" and a spirited "This Joint Is Jumpin'." Other highlights include an upbeat "Chicago," "Bye & Bye" (which has a surprise "glee club" vocal from the group), Johnie Faren's feature on "Drummin' Man," and the Duke Ellington-associated title cut.
