I just became a Mathis fan this past October so it has been an absolute whirlwind of an adventure familiarizing myself with his music. I remember watching this on PBS back in 2006 .This DVD is fantastic with a great LIVE orchestra as well as the Man of the Hour, Mr. Mathis. There are also a few brief interviews with Johnny in his home. Seeing this DVD is second to seeing the Mathis Magic work in person, which I saw a few months back, probably one of the youngest people there.
