Gruesomely funny...
Characters are surprisingly engaging folks I'd HATE to have as neighbors, but who inspire a lot of affection and empathy despite their awful behavior, lurid pasts, etc. My major reservation is that it's so very sexually explicit I'm uncomfortable recommending it to folks who would otherwise get a real kick out of the plots and people.
