Clifton James makes the first of several Bond appearances as redneck sheriff Pepper, while Geoffrey Holder is an enthusiastic secondary villain. Live and Let Die is Moore's first 007 movie - He excels as a charmer but is not the macho type like Brosnan or Connery. However I feel he's not at ease with those mean Carib voodoo guys who'll stop at nothing for a few bucks. He always hated guns and is a peaceful man - so the irony of his role as : BOND License to Kill !!!
