Two sisters in a dour Scandanavian town hire a French girl to cook. When Babette wina a lottery she spends the money on one spectacular dinner for the whole town. Beautiful cinematography of the seaside town and the preparation of the feast. A wonderful film.

GOOD ONE
If you don't mind the slowness of the unfolding of the plot, this is a good movie. Touching.

Movie 'Babette's Feast'
I recommend this movie to anyone who loves food and loves to cook food. The scenery is gorgeous. After the first five minutes, you will forget that you are reading sub-titles.
Bon appetit!
