Very Good. First edition, 1966 Doubleday printing, signed and inscribed by Melly and Gordon, along with a cat paw print stamp. Dust cover in good condition, small tear at back top spine, and nicks along top and bottom. Blue hardcover boards still very flat, minor edge wear, corners still sharp. Spine softened at edges, no tears or fraying. Hinges and gutters still very good, very well attached to binding. Pages have some browning along front and back end pages, couple of old dog ears, otherwise unmarked or folded.
