In another sense, it can also focus the mind to think deeper, revealing a clarity that exposure to the outside world might not. For the Venerable Tue Sy, two truths are realized in his poems-the beautiful and the tragic, the young and the old, the known and the invisible. Tue Sy never complains or laments of his imprisonment.
