The Crow was a cult phenomenon when it was published in 1989, and became a surprising hit for a serialized comic from an indie publisher. Nowadays it's a classic. James O'Barr took all the rage and grief of a personal tragedy and inserted it into this dark and intimate book in which a young man rises up to avenge the murder of the woman he loved. This violent and emotional story moved to the big screen in 1994 in an adaptation that was also marred by tragedy: the lead actor, Brandon Lee, died in the midst of filming. This definitive edition recovers the original story of love and pain that has fascinated readers around the world for nearly three decades.

I've always been a fan of James O'Barr. His life story is almost like this book. From the moment Eric Draven dies in the story, i felt the same, as if it were me. The story is amazing, a once living man comes back to decide the future of those that took his life and his soon to have been wife. I think that this is the most touching story i have ever read. Also the artwork is purely amazing! Thanks to O'Barr its a bit easier living life.
