Paloma D�az-Mas has elaborated in The Dream of Venice a refined literary artifice, a tapestry whose plot is slowly revealed in its five episodes, each of which is told by a different narrator voice, who makes use of the literary resources of each era, but preserving a final enigma, or at least a certain enigmatic resonance, as Henry James would advise.
