Le diaphragme forme le plancher de la cavit� thoracique et la s�pare de la cavit� abdominale. Depuis son point le plus haut de chaque c�t�, le diaphragme s'incline vers le bas en direction de ses points d'attache costaux et vert�braux: cette inclinaison est plus �vidente en arri�re, o� l'espace entre le diaphragme et la paroi post�rieure du thorax est tr�s �troit. L'accident vasculaire c�r�bral (AVC) est l'apparition aigu� d'un dysfonctionnement neurologique se traduisant par des signes et des sympt�mes correspondant � l'atteinte de zones focales du cerveau en raison d'une anomalie de la circulation c�r�brale. L'objectif de notre recherche �tait donc de v�rifier la capacit� pulmonaire des patients atteints d'AVC.
