Bien que la pratique de l'endodontie ne soit pas sans risque, divers accidents techniques peuvent compliquer le traitement des canaux radiculaires, influen�ant le pronostic et pr�jugeant des chances de succ�s. Les m�saventures endodontiques ou accidents de proc�dure sont ces �v�nements malheureux qui se produisent pendant le traitement, certains dus � un manque d'attention aux d�tails, d'autres totalement impr�visibles. Il est pr�f�rable de pr�venir un accident endodontique plut�t que de s'efforcer de le corriger.
