Als die Originalversion dieses Werkes in der Ausgabe 32, 1998, der kubanischen elektronischen Zeitschrift "El ajedrez en Cuba" ver�ffentlicht wurde, die speziell dem mexikanischen Gro�meister, dem Ruhm des lateinamerikanischen Schachs Carlos Torres Repetto, gewidmet war, erhielt der Autor sofort zahlreiche Anerkennungsbekundungen, vor allem von mexikanischen Amateuren, und zwei Jahrzehnte sp�ter ist es nur bedauerlich, dass die begrenzte Verbreitung, die aufgrund des Umfangs der Originalver�ffentlichung in jenen Jahren stattfand, es nicht erm�glichte, dass diese historisch-theoretische Studie eine gr��ere Wirkung in anderen L�ndern in der Region hatte.All dies rechtfertigt die Absicht, diese Version heute in monographischem Format zu pr�sentieren, aber im Stil der Editorial Acad�mica Espa�ola ver�ffentlicht, was der N�chternheit, die gut zur Schachliteratur passt, sehr angemessen ist.Ich hoffe, dass mit dieser neuen Version das Ziel einer breiten Verbreitung als wohlverdiente Hommage an Meister Torres erreicht wird, was f�r die damals und heute aufgewendete Zeit entsch�digen wird.
