important in many ways
"The important thing about an apple...is that it is round."
My grad school professor read this book to us. The message was: when you are teaching (specifically, writing a lesson plan...), be sure you know what is "important" about what you teach. A very potent reminder to be purposful in teaching.
I read it to my middle school students with the message: what are you doing (in art) and why? It had a lot of impact.
A wonderful book for all ages. Very simple.Very memorable. Very "important".
