This book presents the first full length photographic documentation of Eckart Muthesius' work. All the illustrations are vintage black & white photographs from the period + some color plates of surviving fuirniture pieces. The furniture in the palace was designed by a who's who of famed designers of the day including Le Corbusier, Marcel Breuer, Eileen Gray, Ruhlmann, Louis Sognot, Ivan da Silva Bruns and Jean Puiforcat among others. Also includes drawings and a model reconstruction of the 'Project for a Country Residence', and several other projects. 11" high 9" wide, 176 pages. Large heavy book, foreign shipping will be extra.
