This list shows that we are indeed dealing with a new compendium. The volume takes stock as well as offers perspectives for future development. The original Compendium of Congregational Education , which appeared in 1987 and corresponds to the Compendium of Religious Education , shows that the role of the Protestant Church in education can be realized only in the form of constructive cooperation between varied places of learning.
