Previous publications of his work have highlighted the interconnectedness between the various aspects of his work, or have focused solely on his sculptures or videos. This book is the first ever to focus solely on his photographs, with an accompanying introductory text and biographical material on the artist. It clarifies the distinction between the photographs that Orozco considers as independent artworks and the often equally beautiful photographs which he regards as documentation of sculptures or performances pieces, wherein the latter are the actual artwork.
