Fragt der Moderator"Wie geht's dir denn heute so? " Antwortet die Börse"Ach heute geht's mir nicht so toll, die allgemeine Stimmung ist schlecht und außerdem fühle ich mich etwas überbewertet." Zwar ist auch manchmal die Rede von Zahlen, Gewinnwarnungen zum Beispiel, doch wird sogleich immer ein Satz nachgeschoben wie beispielsweise" wie es die Analysten bereits erwartet haben". Also dreht sich an der Börse doch einiges um die Stimmung und die atmosphärischen Strömungen. Deshalb befassen sich immer mehr Experten mit dem Thema Psychologie der Börse. Nun ist das in den Vereinigten Staaten bereits erschienene und vielzitierte Buch "Greed and Fear" von Hersh Sefrin in der Deutschen Übersetzung veröffentlicht worden. Nach einer kurzen Einführung in die Behavioural Finance widmet sich der Autor dem Themenbereich der Prognosen. Es wird beispielsweise anhand einer Vielzahl von Grafiken und Statistiken aufgezeigt, wie leicht sich Analysten vom Monte-Carlo-Effekt, also der Vorhersage einer Wende, obwohl dies nicht der Situation entspricht, beeinflussen lassen. Auch die Reaktionen auf Gewinnbekanntgaben werden detailliert analysiert und dem Leser mittels Beispielen leicht verständlich präsentiert. In einem eigenen Kapitel charakterisiert der Autor das Handeln der Privatanleger an der Börse aus psychologischer Sicht. In dem einem oder anderen Punkt, beispielsweise am gelegentlichen Festhalten an einer verlustbringenden Aktie wird sich wohl jeder Investor wiedererkennen. Hersh Sefrin beschreibt, warum dieses Phänomen auftritt und welche Konsequenzen der Anleger daraus ziehen kann. Genauso interessant sind die anschließenden Kapitel, die sich mit den Börsenprofis, den institutionellen Anlegern und den Investmentbanking Abteilungen der Banken beschäftigen. Hier veranschaulicht der Autor beispielsweise das Phänomen der Discounts bei geschlossenen Fonds oder auch psychologische Problematiken bei Unternehmensübernahmen und Neuemissionen. Fazit: Dieses Buch ist für jeden Anleger eine Bereicherung, denn es macht komplexe psychologische Phänomene an der Börse leichter nachvollziehbar. Anspruchsvoll und informativ geschrieben Bereits aus dem Titel "Investmentpsychologie für Profis" geht klar hervor, daß es sich bei diesem Buch um ein Werk handelt, daß schon ein gewisses Vorwissen voraussetzt. Der Autor stellt das Anlegerverhalten an der Börse als subjektiv geprägt von verschiedensten Einflüssen dar. Im Kern wird die These vertreten, Börsentendenzen und Aktienkurse kämen keinesfalls im Normalfall durch rationale Entscheidungen zustande, sondern seien begründet durch bestimmte Verhaltensmuster der Marktteilnehmer. Vor dem Hintergrund des Begriffs "Investmentpsychologie" wird auf konkrete psychologische Einflußfaktoren auf das menschliche Verhalten wie Gier und die Angst vor Verlusten eingegangen. Dem Autor gelingt es sehr gut, sich in seinem Werk auf einem anspruchsvollen Niveau mit der Verknüpfung von harten wirtschaftlichen Fakten mit "weichen" Fakten, die von Emotionen geprägt sind. Shefrin kommt durchaus zu Ergebnissen, die für jeden, der sich mit Kapitalmärkten und Geldanlage befaßt von großer Bedeutung und ebenso großem Interesse sind. Es muß allerdings gesagt werden, daß dieses Buch sicherlich nicht geeignet ist als Erstlektüre im Zusammenhang mit Börse und Geldanlage. Es richtet sich vielmehr an all diejenigen, die bereits selbst mehr oder weniger zahlreiche Erfahrungen, welcher Art auch immer, an der Börse gemacht haben und die gern ihre Anlageentscheidungen selbst in der Hand haben. Es ist aber ebenso ein Buch, daß sich sehr gut für jemanden eignet, der mit Börse noch keinerlei Kontakt hatte, sich aber sehr für die psychologische Seite eines vermeintlich so rationalen Themas wie das der Geldanlage interessiert.
