Letztere betonen den Mangel an politischer Einheit des Landes, ber�cksichtigen zu wenig die sich stark auf die sozialen Verh�ltnisse auswirkenden Folgen der etwa seit dem Jahr 1000 andauernden moslemischen Eroberungen und Gewaltherrschaften sowie die Auswirkungen der wohldurchdachten und zumindest gebietsweise noch gelehrten "Geschichtstheorien" der westlichen Kolonialherren. Nach Erlangung der indischen Unabh�ngigkeit entwarfen die westlich erzogenen F�hrungskr�fte der meisten indischen politischen Gruppierungen ihre Programme mehr oder weniger stark nach obigen Theorien und versuchen diese weiterhin umzusetzen mit Methoden, die immer st�rker in Gewalt oder gar Morde an politischen Gegnern ausarten. Die Folgen sind politisch-religi�se Unruhen, Zerst�rung von Eigentum und Behinderung von Fortschritt und Modernisierung. Dieses Buch zeigt die Schw�chen obiger Theorien auf und schildert das Verhalten bestimmter indischer Gruppierungen und ihre Auswirkungen, ist also gedacht als Beitrag zum besseren Verst�ndnis und dadurch zum Abbau der in S�dasien noch stark nachwirkenden Hinterlassenschaften des Kolonialismus. Dies w�re gleichzeitig eine Hilfe zum Abbau von Spannungen und zur Beruhigung der politisch-religi�sen Verh�ltnisse in diesem Teil der Erde.
