What an exciting book! If you've ever been to Scotland and seen the Castle of Edinburgh this book is even more fun. This is Stevenson's last book and was left unfinished at the time of his death. But he had left enough of an outline that a friend was able to finish it for him--so all readers could be satisfied with a conclusion. With daring prison escapes, intrigue and injustice, romance and humor, even a hot-air balloon ride, this book is full of adventure. It is wordy and not an easy read, compared to most literature in the late 20th and 21st Centuries, but it is worth it for any book lover and especially all who love Robert Louis Stevenson.
