Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2018 im Fachbereich Organisation und Verwaltung - Sonstiges, Note: 1,3, Hochschule Harz - Hochschule f�r angewandte Wissenschaften (FH), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In dieser Hausarbeit werden die Grundlagen des New Public Management (NPM) auf das Fallbeispiel der irischen Verwaltung bezogen. Beweggrund dahinter ist zum einen, dass das Land recht selten in der Literatur behandelt wird; der gro�e Nachbar Gro�britannien wird dagegen oft analysiert. Zum anderen wurde das Land von der Finanzkrise 2008 hart getroffen, und begann nach Aufnahme unter den EU-Rettungsschirm mit zahlreichen Reformen. Dies sind bereits die ersten Hinweise auf die Unterteilung dieser Arbeit. Im folgenden Kapitel wird zuerst eine Einf�hrung in die Ans�tze des NPM gegeben, damit jeder Leser die Eckpunkte des zugrunde liegenden Konzeptes kennt. Der zweite Teil des zweiten Kapitels erkl�rt den Aufbau der �ffentlichen Verwaltung in Irland. Danach wendet das dritte Kapitel das NPM direkt auf Irland an. Grundlage sind aktuelle Dokumente der irischen Regierung zum Thema, n�mlich die Regierungspl�ne zur Reform des �ffentlichen Dienstes aus den Jahren 2011 und 2014. Letzterer ist der aktuell g�ltige und wird gegenw�rtig implementiert und evaluiert. Im ersten Teil des dritten Kapitels werden die Inhalte der beiden Pl�ne umrissen; der zweite Teil geht dann n�her auf die Implementierung und Evaluation ein. Das Ziel der Hausarbeit soll sein, herauszufinden, zu welchem Grad Irland die Ideen des NPM in der irischen Verwaltung zur Anwendung kommen, und ob man seit 2011 Verbesserungen erkennen kann.
